Tea Gardens
The tea gardens of Rwanda Mountain Tea, named Nyabihu & Rubayaare located in the mountains of the nothern
part of Rwanda. The two plantations comprise of 1300 hectares in extent, lead to a production of 3 million kilograms of made
Tea yearly. Over 1000 tea farmer families from their small tea plots supply green leaf to these factories

The Factory capacities are increased and modern machinery is introduced to ensure a hygienic & a quality product.
The ambitious goals are being achieved with the commitment of the enthusiastic local personnel, supported by the foreign
experts.
Regular training of employees at all levels is considered important for better understanding of their respective jobs.
To the health conscious, the Tea produced by Rwanda Mountain Tea is a beverage that can be consumed safely,
as pesticides & herbicides are not used in the plantations.
