Today the main diseases
affecting the people of the world are the degenerative diseases; heart
disease, high blood pressure,
stroke, cancers and diabetes. These diseases, caused at least in part by improper and unbalanced nutrition, are responsible
for 50-70 % of premature mortality. Scientific investigations that have been carried out in independent laboratories around
the world have shown that tea drinking could contribute to reduce risk of those diseases. Drinking Tea lowers cholesterol
levels, improves cardiovascular health and helps guard against some cancers.
The anti-oxidant activity of tea polyphenols emerges as the most important factor in reducing the risk of those diseases, and
both black tea and green tea are equally effective in preventive action.
Tea is a natural food product processed and prepared without additives and preservatives. It has been time-tested by
populations and civilizations over millennia and confirmed as safe for regular consumption. The findings of modern science in
regard to its therapeutic value make tea the ideal drink!
