Rwanda Mountain Tea also pays attention to its environment by avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides in the
teagarden of Rwanda Mountain Tea, and by protecting the environment in the habitat the endangered mountain gorilla species live.
Rwanda, the land of 1000 hills is blessed with rich soils & ideal climate for agriculture. It is our bounden duty to protect
what nature has given us. Combating erosion & pollution of the environment, protecting & planting trees, are matters
practiced by Rwanda Mountain Tea, setting an example for others to follow. In addition, Rwanda Mountain Tea will soon commence
producing Hydro energy to cater to the needs of the Factories and to the neighboring Schools, Hospitals, etc.
Rwanda Mountain Tea believes working in close partnership with the local communities, encouraging them to improve the
productivity of their agricultural Plots. Farmers are given assistance to maintain their existing tea plots and to expand the
plots for increased production. An increase in the family income will certainly raise the living standards.
The basic needs of the local communities, such as education, health facilities, employment, etc are concerns addressed
by the management of Rwanda Mountain Tea.
The activities of Rwanda Mountain Tea lead to community development and stimulation of the local economy.
